Christmas Wedding Ideas

I recently saw these wonderful Christmas place settings. I just love this idea because you not only get a personalised place setting but it also doubles up as a favor.

This was a wedding I was working on in early December the couple had the tags printed to match their invitations and had even had personalised ribbon with their names and wedding dated printed onto it.

This is a perfect wedding favor for this time of year as guests can take them home and hang them straight on their tree.

Autumn Themed Wedding - Bridal Bouquet

As we are getting close to the end of Autumn, I thought you might like to see this autumn themed wedding bouquet that I made for one of our October brides.

The beautiful mango calla lilies, Orange freesias and yellow roses provided the perfect Autumn colour range.

Calla lilies work really well when arranged into a handtied posy.

Purple Themed Wedding Colours

Purple has become a very popular choice for this years weddings. I'm also seeing a lot of brides that are choosing it for 2009.

It is a beautiful colour to choose and there are a variety of very popular shades of purple. It's being predominately chosen for bridesmaids dresses. This is then taken through to invites, chair covers, favors and flower choices.

You can see from this photograph that it look particularly nice when teamed with lilac and white flowers and the silver eucalyptus foliage.

Autumn is a really beautiful season to get married in and fall themed weddings are becoming increasingly popular.

One of the reason it's a popular choice for brides is the beautiful autumnal colours of reds and oranges.
