Adding Colour

A great way to theme your wedding is through colour.

Flowers provide an excellent way to colour coordinate your wedding and the variety of colours available is amazing.

If you have a strong colour like the yellow you can see here from http://www.wedding-flowers-guide.com/yellow-wedding-flowers.html it enables you to dress all of your rooms from the ceremony to the wedding breakfast etc.

Often brides use the colour of their bridesmaids dresses as a starting point.

When you have a colour theme in mind I suggest talking it through with your florist. They will be able to advise and help you coordinate your colour theme through the flowers.

This photograph is of a spring wedding and the fresh yellow colour worked perfectly for the time of year and the setting.

Simple Wedding Decoration Ideas

A simple but highly effective way to decorate your wedding cake.

Red roses have been carefully placed in between every tier of the wedding cake.

Sometimes the simplest ideas work the best. I love this because the roses make such a statement on their own, without the need for anything else.

Wedding Table Decoration Ideas

It's the attention to detail that really makes a difference to your wedding tables.

Ideas that are simple, easy to do and cheap to purchase are perfect.

I really liked this ideas of the candy necklace around the napkins from http://www.youandyourwedding.co.uk/ it reminds me of my childhood, I used to love these sweets.

Another very simple but highly effective way to decorate your napkins is to tie them with colour coordinated ribbon. You can easily attach name cards or flowers to them to add that extra special touch.

Just make sure you prepare your napkins a couple of days before the wedding you certainly won't want to do them on the day!
