I've just seen this great idea for place names at http://www.youandyourwedding.co.uk/I think this is a very original idea for a place setting and also doubles up as a favour.
You could have great fun tying in the flower to your boquet or colour scheme. This would work with lots of different flowers including orchids, gerberas and Gloriosa flower heads.
